Welcome to Breathwork 101
Breath-work is a comprehensive name for a variety of ways to control the breath and consciously create change. It works on all levels, mental, emotional and physical and improves energy flow, reduces stress, creates clarity and enhances overall well being.
If you do the research on breath-work, you will discover that it resolves many, many conditions. Its effects are vast and profound.
There was a time in my career when, as a certified breath facilitator, I did long breathwork sessions, lasting 45 minutes with my clients. I had one client, who was in a dysfunctional love relationship. It was only after 4 sessions that she awoke to this fact, broke up with him and then in her freedom, she found the love of her life and married him. This is an example of how when people breathe properly, it creates the opening for more happiness in their lives. Just like we open up the chest and cells for air, we energetically open our lives for healthy opportunity.
There are many types of breathwork including Pranayama, Transformational Breathwork, Integrative Breathwork, Kundalini, Shamanic Breathwork, Conscious Connected Breathing, Holotropic Breathwork and many others. In the end you just need to pick the one that works for you.
What you will learn in this video is a basic beginning point for applying breathwork to create desired change. It is easy and only takes seconds. It is not a 45 minute session. This is breath work you can do in a chair, lying down, in a parked car, outside in the garden. You can use this to prepare for a meditation, to help you digest information and for a mood pick-me-up. It is unnecessary to employ a specially trained coach for my 50-100 breaths.
